  • Quantum Void IV. Acrylic on Paper. 85cm x 50cm

Those who meditate sometimes see a rose-gold light behind their eyes.
Connecting with light energy helps to dissolve the sense of separateness of our physical body, and unites us with the energy of the Universe at a quantum level.

  • Quantum Wave I Oil on paper 2m x 1m

The interplay between oil, paper, water, and salt has created some delicate tracery and patterns that can only be formed by the action of universal forces (chemical properties, gravity etc).

Every particle in the universe carries within it the knowledge, or ‘consciousness’, that creates these patterns at both microscopic and cosmic scale. Humans can ‘read’ and enjoy these abstract patterns because at a molecular level we too are formed of the same quanta and exist by the same universal laws.

  • Becoming. Oil on Paper 2.2m x 85cm

At a quantum level every particle is in multiple places at one time, and has both wave and matter properties. Nothing is fixed or certain. Everything is in a state of becoming.
At a human level this uncertainty is reflected in the fact that we have both material and spiritual experiences that both separate us from and connect us to the Universe.

  • Quantum Void I. Oil on Paper. 2.1m x 85cm (triptych)

At a quantum level, everything is in flux and constantly popping in and out of existence.

  • Void III

At a quantum level, everything is in flux and constantly popping in and out of existence.

  • Void II

At a quantum level, everything is in flux and constantly popping in and out of existence.

  • Void V

At a quantum level, everything is in flux and constantly popping in and out of existence.

  • Body of Light. Oil on Paper85cm x 50 cm

We are made of energy at a quantum level, that is constantly popping in and out of existence.
